A career within either Magnox North or Magnox South will put you at the forefront of the nuclear industry with an accredited Professional Development programme which potentially enables you to experience the complete nuclear lifecycle. As a graduate, you will put your acquired knowledge to good use and work in a real job right from the outset. No matter whether you join Magnox North or Magnox South, you will be part of a multi award winning company.

A number of our sites have recently received the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Order of Distinction, an accolade recognising 15 consecutive RoSPA gold awards for safety.

All our sites are individual in design which brings its own set of challenges. In order to provide you with the full Magnox Experience you will undertake a number of work placements in line with both the business and your personal development needs to assist you in reaching Chartership and broadening your networks across the sites.

Socio-Economic Initiatives

We are a responsible business that works hard in local communities, ensuring that our work is understood locally and the impact of decommissioning is mitigated through comprehensive socio-economic initiatives. As a graduate you will have the opportunity to further enhance our reputation, whether it's engaging with schools and colleges to raise awareness of science and technology careers or working with community groups to improve the local infrastructure.

As a graduate you can also become involved; many of our graduates become ambassadors of the national STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programme to promote science and engineering in schools and further education establishments. And we regularly hold graduate Corporate Responsibility days to allow our graduates to see first hand the positive impact we can have in the communities around our sites.
